Yes, we have a referral program. There's two main ways this can be used.
The payment depends on the level the user you refer signups up as, or upgrades to:
Referrer credit payments are made at the end of each month, so don't expect credits to appear immediately after someone signs up.
If a user upgrades later, you'll earn credit for their upgrade. For instance, if someone you refer signs up as a Member, then at the end of the month you'll get $0.75. If a few months later they upgrade to Full, you'll earn another $2.25 (eg difference between Member and Full referrer payment).
You can see how many users you referred at each level by going to the Options screen, then the Referral Status screen. Due to privacy reasons, we can only show the number of users at each level, we can't tell you their account names.
Referrer credits are added to your account pool, and so act just like money you've added to your account. If you've earned enough credits to cover the thing you want to buy, just go to the appropriate screen and buy it.
If you don't have enough credits, and want to upgrade, just go to Options screen, then the Upgrade screen. Any extra money you need will automatically be calculated, and can be charged to a credit card.
Yes. If you've earned over $50 of referrer credits, we're happy to pay the credits to you as cash.
The only problem at the moment is actually getting the cash to you. While credit cards are an easy way to pay for goods/services, we can't actually pay money back onto a credit card.
At the moment, the only way to be paid out is if you have a PayPal account, in that case, we will happily pay cash to your PayPal account. Just contact us through the FastMail.FM support system with details of your FastMail.FM account name, your PayPal account name, and how much you'd like paid out from your account pool.
